    This is the fully unabridged version of this book!



    I've always loved this story, so I wanted to pass it on to my grandson. I love that it's the unabridged version, so it's the exact same length as the version that we own on Audible, though with a different narrator, which doesn't take away from it at all. If you love the story, I highly recommend getting this Tony.

    A great way to get into chapter books



    This tonie is my daughter’s favorite. She’s 5 years old. I think we’ve listened to this tonie 100 times since we got it. We love chapter books so this is perfect. Now, I understand they are reading the book verbatim, however, I cringe every time they talk about Augustus gloop and his family. Times are different now and this sort of verbiage is not kind. It has opened up a conversation about kind words so I guess it was a positive teaching moment. So, if you have a young child, you may want to prepare for that conversation and have them not repeat those words to their peers at school in a hurtful way.
